The link Poems at the footer of this site takes you to a list of poems.  Clicking on any poem in the list brings you to a page with sections that toggle to reveal the poem, a memorization aid, and, if available, a reading of the poem.

Contemplated, eventually, toggles where visitors can practice "typing" the poem (with history), and recording their reading(s).

A walk in the park and an inspired suggestion led to this site.   It uses a stripped down version of Robert Oliphant's technique for memorizing poems and other texts (PDF).

To submit poems for inclusion on this site, send an email to poetry@ourposterity.org.  In the subject please note the author,  title, and date published.  If you can, please cut and paste the poem into the email and/or include a link to the page where the you found the poem.

A note on copyright:  This is an "experimental" site intended for personal use by a small number of people, and will require that users login.   If you submit a poem for inclusion, please advise whether the poem is or is not in the public domain.
